My training combines Traditional Ways of Medicine People and Classic Chinese Medicine, a healing tradition that is one of the world’s oldest. A complex system of medicine based on laws of nature, cycles of life, and flow of life force energy based in Five Element Theory.
The Five Element Medicine Path approach offers a truly holistic and functional approach to wellness. Spring Forest Qigong offers self healing through a Five Element Movement practice as well as informs and supports the healing sessions.
Most people are familiar with Chinese medicine through acupuncture and the use of needles. The Classical Chinese Medicine system uses an entirely different approach than the more commonly known Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Specifically, the Five Element theory and approach does not treat symptoms but seeks out the root cause of imbalance and works to restore the underlying functions.
In my practice, people are supported through one on one treatments and Qigong classes. People can choose to take a class, have a treatment or combine both techniques together.
During one on one treatments , a safe, non-invasive method is used to help balance the mind, body, heart, and spirit. Energy is balanced within the meridians in the body which allows the energy to move freely. The Five Element Medicine Path approach and Spring Forest Qigong Energy Healing approach are the basis of the sessions. Both approaches are based on Five Element Theory of Classic Chinese Medicine.
During Five Element Qigong sessions, support the qi (energy) in your body to move freely. It is a gentle, simple yet powerful practice that encourages self-healing. The practice consists of movement, breath, sound, and visualization.
